2. Eligibility – Applicants must be currently enrolled in their Jr. or Sr. year of high school in Broward County.

3. Prizes awarded:  1^st place $1,000; 2^nd place $500; 3^rd place $250.

4. Procedures, Dates and Times

·         Auditions will be held Sunday, March 16, 2008

·         Applicants will be assigned a 4 minute time slot. Auditions will begin at 10:00 a.m. Audition times will be assigned in the order that the applications are received.

·         Judges will select 8 finalists who must be available to perform in the “Concert on Finalists” on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the “Concert of Finalists.” If a finalist is unable to participate in the final concert, they will be considered ineligible and will be replaced by the next runner up.

5. Bring a CD or cassette tape accompaniment. A piano will be available for those who want to bring their own accompanist. No a cappella auditions.
